I’ve always hated the term “twice exceptional”

I imagine the conversation behind its inception went something like this:

“How do we break it to Mrs.Smith that her exceptionally bright young boy is also an exceptionally stupid and stubborn asshole?”

“I got it! He’s TWICE exceptional!”

“My God, Doctor, you’re a genius! Willy Wonka himself couldn’t have sugar coated it any better!”
